Greetings my fellow modelers and welcome back to Military Mondays! We are finally back at it, after a few weeks focusing on other builds and today we are starting up a new build. This time we are heading back to WWII and building a kit that I have had in the stash for a few years now. this is the 1/48th scale Yakovlev Yak-1 by Academy! Now technically, this is a re-boxing of the Accurate Miniatures kit, but Academy has rereleased here, under their banner. Regardless, this should be a fun and hopefully quick build. I think next time, we will start up the construction and paining, but for now let's just take a look at the kit, talk a bit about references, and get this show on the road.
