Ben Builds Season 15 - Academy Yak-1 Ep.1

What's up modelers and welcome back to Military Mondays and our 1/48th scale Yakovlev Yak-1 by Academy! Today we are getting some glue down on plastic and building up the cockpit and fuselage. We also have to prime, paint, and add in some details to the dials and levers, so we have a bit of work ahead of us today. This kit looks great in the box, but I will need to add in some seatbelts. I actually ordered some premade seatbelts (I just didn't feel like making my own lol), so I hope they show up soon. Until they do, I can't complete the front office, so we will have to find other areas to work on in the meantime. Luckily, we have a week or so for the belts to come in, so we will just leave out the seat and focus on the other areas of the cockpit. I think next time, as long as the belts come in, we will finish up the cockpit, and move on with the wings and gears. That should be fun, so stay tuned and thanks for watching!
