ANGLO-INDIAN CHICKEN LIVER PEPPER FRY (chicken livers cooked with fresh ground Black Pepper) Ingredients 1/2 kg chicken livers cut into medium size pieces 2 large onions sliced 2 green chillies sliced lengthwise 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste 2.5 teaspoons fresh crushed black pepper or pepper powder 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder 2 tablespoons oil salt to taste 2 potatoes boiled, peeled and cut into halves Heat oil in a pan and fry the onions to light brown. Add the ginger garlic paste and fry for a few minutes Add the ground pepper and turmeric and fry for a few minutes Add the chicken livers and mix well. Fry for a few minutes, then add salt to taste Mix well then cook on low heat for around 8 to 10 minutes till the livers are tender and semi dry. Remove on to a serving dish. Add the potatoes to the pan and mix well to coat with the onion and pepper mixture. Turn off the heat and rest for a few minutes.
