Something is very nostalgic about the Rick Krispies treats. I grew up buying these from our local bakeries and enjoying them on the way back home from school. I have been making it for my kids for years now and along with them I still enjoy them very much. It's a very simple and basic candy treat but at the same time everyone's favorite. You can make it very presentable by decorating it with colorful icing and gift it to someone you love. Rick Krispies Treats Marshmallow Creme: Corn syrup- ¾ cup- 170g- 6 Oz. Sugar- ⅔ cup- 145g Water- ¼ cup Egg whites 3 Cream of tartar- ½ tsp Sugar 2 tbsp- 25g Vanilla paste 1 tsp 6 cups rice cereal 3 tbsp butter 5 cups marshmallow puff Process: Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water in a small saucepan. Place the pot on the heat and bring it to a gentle simmer. Lower the heat and place a thermometer in it. Without stirring it further, keep simmering it gently until the temperature reaches 240 F. Don’t let it rise above 240 F. While that’s happening, whip the egg whites for a minute. Add the cream of tartar and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Continue whipping it till the whites become more stable. Add the rest of the one tablespoon of sugar to it and whisk it till it reaches stiff peaks. Start pouring the hot syrup in whites in a slow steady stream while constantly whipping the mixture. It will become glossy and thick. Add vanilla paste to it and mix it in. Transfer it to a jar and seal it for freshness. Rice Krispies Treats: All the marshmallow creme 3 tbsp butter 6-7 cups rice cereal Melt butter in a deep pot and add all the creme to it. Mix it well with the butter. Add the rice cereal to it and mix it well. Butter a 9/9 inch pan very well. Add all the mixture to it. Level it and press it firmly. Cover it and let it cool for 3 hours or more till it becomes a solid mass. Score it and cut it into square pieces using a serrated knife. Decorate it by dipping it in colorful candy melts, wrap it, and make a present box to give as a gift. Enjoy!♥️
