This video explains how to get your evidence and documents ready for a CCMA or a disciplinary hearing case in South Africa. It also contains practical tips from a Labour Lawyer on what you need to do to present your evidence. The dismissal will be seen as unfair if there is no evidence to support the reason for the dismissal or whether the proper procedure was followed. Make sure you have 1 original set for the CCMA Commissioner and 3 copies. One copy will be for yourself, one copy for the witness who will be testifying and one copy for your opponent in the case. Remember to index and paginate the copies. You give out your copies on the day of your disciplinary hearing or CCMA case after your opening statement.
