Hello and welcome everyone, thank you for dropping into this practice with me! This is a Hatha practice that prepares you for Wheel Pose, Urdhva Dhanurasana. Urdhva Dhanurasana is a strong and intense back bend, and it asks for a lot of openness in the front body and a lot of strength in the back body for support. In this class, we warm up the body, get into all of the parts of the body that are needed to safely practice this posture, and then we move into practicing Wheel pose where there will be lots of options, so even if you are new to this pose, you can find a variation that works for you.
