Caerfanell Valley, Blaen y Glyn Falls & Allt Forgan (With Mishaps)!

A hike up the beautiful Caerfanell valley in the central Brecon Beacons near Talybont. I visit the impressive Blaen y Glyn waterfalls and progress up the valley with multiple small waterfalls and cascades making this a very beautiful walk. The path was very boggy and overgrown in sections making it tough going. I was planning to walk to Carn Pica but I missed the path up going off piste through rough terrain I started to run out of light and sustained an ankle sprain. I cut the walk short doing them smaller summit of Allt Forgan which itself was rough under foot and not without problems! Great views though and was overall a very enjoyable walk. I shall return better prepared and with better knowledge for the Carn Pica revisit!
