Gili Trawangan is a bit sketchy.

It’s a short boat ride from Gili Meno to Gili Trawangan with a re-introduction to the bustle of people and tourists which is a contrast to the sleepy island where we’ve been for the last three days.I take a walk around the back lanes and watch local life, change some money, stop for a simple lunch, and get approached by a man who gave me the idea he wasn’t entirely happy with me for some reason. Gili Trawangan is the party island between the three Gilli islands and the island is full of horse drawn carts, backpackers, bars, food vendors and a hustling little scene. I meet some sketchy types and I think some one took my umbrella in a crowd. Some people on Gili Trawangan are a bit aggressive in the way they try to offer their services, the character of others is a bit dubious - some aren't to be trusted at all, I feel.
