Various people walking through snow storm STORYLINE: Snow fell in the Spanish capital on Wednesday as storm Kristin, an extreme weather front crossed the country. The snow was mainly melting but parking meters, motorbikes and even a street sculpture began to be covered. A large Spanish flag had been ripped by the strong winds which made walking difficult. Classes have been cancelled in Andalucia and Extremadura. One woman was killed in Torremolinos, Malaga on Tuesday, when high winds pushed over a palm tree.
