Tacos, Tourists, and Ghosts | Old Town San Diego Adventure

We spent the day wandering around Old Town San Diego, and it turned into one of our favorite family adventures yet. This wasn’t a planned tour or a history lesson, just us exploring, eating great food, and following our curiosity. We grabbed a meal at the Old Town Mexican Cafe, strolled past historic buildings and shops, checked out the outside of the Whaley House, and soaked in all the atmosphere that makes Old Town such a special place. The unexpected highlight? We somehow ended up inside the Cosmopolitan Hotel while it was completely closed. No crowds. No staff. Just our family walking through a world-famous, reportedly haunted hotel… alone. Whether you believe in ghosts or not, the experience was equal parts surreal, eerie, and unforgettable. This video is very much our style, a “home movie” kind of day where things unfold naturally. No rush, no script, just a family exploring one of San Diego’s most historic areas and making memories together.
