Enjoy, and make sure to share pictures of your treats on Facebook and Instagram with the hashtag #kawaiisweetworld! ♥ Facebook: http://on.fb.me/14LNQ1d ♥ Instagram: / kawaiisweeteats ♥ Channel: http://bit.ly/18keK04 Donut Maker: http://amzn.to/1zzBXYk Lemon Donuts Makes about 14 mini donuts Donut Ingredients 1 cup flour ½ cup sugar 1 tsp baking powder ¼ tsp salt ½ cup buttermilk (or ½ cup milk + 1 ½ tsp white vinegar) 2 T butter, melted 1 tsp vanilla extract 2 T lemon juice Zest of 2 lemons 1 egg, room temperature Cake Directions 1. Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. 2. Whisk together buttermilk, butter, vanilla extract, lemon juice, lemon zest, and egg. Add to dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Transfer batter into a piping bag or Ziploc bag. 3. Pipe batter into mini donut maker and bake for 3 min. If using donut pan bake for 8 min at 350F. For mini muffin tin, bake for 10 min at 350F. Icing Ingredients 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted 3 T milk ¼ tsp vanilla extract Icing Directions Mix all ingredients besides food coloring together until smooth.
