GET THE FULL RECIPE ►►► Ingredients -One large head of Cauliflower -1/2 cup of Avacado oil (it ok if you have extra, you can use it for another recipe. it will last two months in a sealed container in the refrigerator) -1/2 teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper -One teaspoon of Paprika -One teaspoon of Salt -One teaspoon of Black Pepper -One Tablespoon of Garlic Powder -One Tablespoon of Onion Powder -One Tablespoon of Italian seasoning (Basil, Oregano, Marjoram, Thyme, Rosemary, Sage) -1/3 cup of sun-dried tomato pesto (recipe below) -1 cup of shredded Mozzarella instructions Make sure the oven rack positioned in the middle. And pre-heat the oven to 500 F. Remove the outer green leaves from the head of the Cauliflower and trim the stem with a knife. Use a sharp knife and cut down the middle of the Cauliflower. Cut a 1 1/2 inch thick steaks from each half(you will get two steaks and two half steaks per Cauliflower). Place cauliflower on a baking sheet. In a small bowl, mix the avocado oil, Paprika, Salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian herbs. Brush the seasoned oil onto the Cauliflower evenly on each side. Tightly cover the baking sheet with aluminum foil and bake for 5 minutes ( So it can steam to get soft) Remove the foil from the Cauliflower and roast the Cauliflower for 10 minutes. take the Cauliflower out of the oven and turn the temperature down to 425 F Gently flip the Cauliflower steak, add the sundried tomato pesto, spread it on top evenly, and add Mozzarella cheese. Place back in the oven until the cheese has beautifully melted—about 7-10 minutes. Please take out the oven and let it rest for about 2 minutes before transferring to the plate. Garnish with parsley. Enjoy! Sun-dried tomato pesto 8.5 oz jar of sun-dried tomatoes with the herb blend 2 Tablespoons of Parmesan cheese One teaspoon of Italian seasoning herbs Or one teaspoon of Thyme salt and pepper to taste Two cloves of garlic Get a food processor or small blender. place sun-dried tomatoes with the oil included into the processor Add the Parmesan cheese, herb(s), Salt, Pepper, and Garlic to the processor and blend until it becomes chopped pieces very finely(almost to a grainy paste) If you like more of a wet or runny pesto, add more olive oil until your liking.
