Rich and heavenly chocolate turns this cake into magic for your tastebuds! This nearly flourless cake is fabulously rich without being too sweet. It's soft, almost fudgey - almost mousse-like texture delivers. And, it's so simple to make. Ingredients: -- Dark, bittersweet chocolate, 60% to 70% cocao, 7 oz or 200g -- Unsalted Butter, 7 oz or 200g (14 Tbsp) -- Sugar, 7 oz or 200g -- Eggs, 5 -- All purpose flour, 1 Tbsp OR to make this Gluten Free (GF) - substitute 1 for 1 GF Flour Recipe -- Preheat oven to 350 -- Grease 8" or 9" pan, place parchment on bottom -- Gently melt butter and chocolate, then allow it to cool somewhat -- Whisk in sugar -- Mix in the eggs, one at a time -- Fold in flour of choice -- Pour into pan and level -- Bake for 20 - 24 or so minutes. Cake should jiggle slightly. If it wiggles too much, bake for another 2 minutes then recheck. -- Allow cake to cool, flip out then flip onto a serving platter or cake round -- Optional, sprinkle with confectioners sugar -- Serve with whipped cream, creme fraiche
