In this installment of the Executive Spotlight, President Justin Kinsey hosts Srini Ananth, Managing Director of Intel Capital. Srini earned a master's degree in electrical engineering from Arizona State University, later followed by earning his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He started his career in Product Design and Engineering at Texas Instruments and spent nine years with T.I developing chips that powered millions of mobile phones and tablets generating more than $1.5B in revenue. At Intel, he led the go-to-market strategy for a cybersecurity SaaS product signing up Intel’s largest distributor, and spearheaded acquisitions and partnerships for Intel Media. With his keen eye for spotting emerging trends and ability to foster strong relationships, Srini played a pivotal role in Intel's mobile communications and IoT divisions where he built ecosystem partnerships with application software and component technology providers to support Intel’s entry into these emerging growth businesses. His passion for investing and advising ultimately led him to join Intel Capital in 2015. In his current position, Srini focuses on investing in the Silicon and Cloud domain. Specifically, he invests in Deep Tech, Cloud Infrastructure, and AI Applications companies. A handful of his notable investments include Ayar Labs, Inworld AI, and Eliyan, as well as several successful IPO exits including Joby Aviation and Astera Labs, which recently went public in March. Srini also serves as a board observer for several of the companies he's invested in.
