This Peace Walk Meditation is a seated mindfulness practice inspired by the idea of walking in peace through daily life, rather than a physical walking meditation. Rooted in the Eightfold Path teaching of wanting without grasping, this session invites gentle reflection on how we move through our days—with intention, presence, and compassion—without striving or clinging. Through breath awareness, stillness, and guided reflection, this meditation encourages you to notice desire, expectation, and effort, and to practice letting go while still caring deeply. It is about cultivating peace from within and carrying that peace into everyday moments. In this meditation, you will: Practice a seated meditation grounded in peace and presence Reflect on the Eightfold Path concept of non-grasping Explore how to live with intention without striving Release inner pressure, urgency, and tension Calm the nervous system and ground the body This meditation is accessible to all levels and can be practiced entirely seated. It may be especially supportive for those navigating stress, illness, recovery, emotional overwhelm, or periods of uncertainty. How to use this meditation: Sit comfortably in a quiet space Use headphones for deeper immersion Allow thoughts to come and go without judgment Pause or rest at any time This offering is part of SurvivingBreastCancer.org’s trauma-informed, evidence-based mindfulness programs, supporting whole-person healing—mind, body, and spirit.
