Netflix has once again taken something wholesome — ice skating — and wrapped it in teen angst, pressure, rivalry, and emotional damage. Finding Her Edge is a YA drama about ambition, identity, and the cost of being “the talented one.” It’s messy, dramatic, occasionally cheesy, and absolutely designed to keep you watching episode after episode. In this review, I talk about why this show works, where it stumbles, how the skating is filmed, how the soundtrack manipulates your feelings, and why Netflix clearly wants this to run for multiple seasons.
