INGREDIENTS FOR 6 PIECES Bread Dough 210g Bread flour (1cup and 1/3cup) -100ml Warm milk Half-beaten egg -28g(2tbsp) unsalted butter, room temp -25g(2.3tbsp) Sugar -2g(0.5tsp) Salt -4g(0.8tbsp) Instant dry yeast Coffee Topping -35g(3tbsp) unsalted butter, Room temperature -35g (3.6tbsp) Sugar -2 Pinches of salt -Half-beaten egg -42g(4tbsp) Bread flour -2g(0.6tbsp) Instant coffee -6g(1tbsp) Warm water Filling -6 pieces of 5g each) Unsalted butter TIPS- -You can change the filling — cream cheese works great too. -Always cool the coffee water completely before using it. -If making the coffee topping in advance, keep it in the fridge to prevent the butter from melting. -For best fermentation, place the dough in a bowl over warm water. Change the water if it cools down. -You can also bake these in an air fryer. Just use a slightly lower temperature than the oven. -To store leftovers, freeze the buns.
