Today we are going to be cooking a delicious lomo saltado! Long ago we promised them that we were going to cook Peruvian food, so for today's video we decided to prepare one of the country's flagship dishes: lomo saltado. This is a Peruvian dish consisting of beef, cooked rice, and potato chips. We eat it every time we travel to Lima and it is delicious! Actually, lomo saltado is a fusion dish that mixes Peruvian and Chinese cuisine - this fusion is known as chifa. The Chinese influence is demonstrated by the use of wok (a deep frying pan used in Asian cuisine) and the Sillao (soy sauce), and the Peruvian influence is seen in the use of ingredients such as yellow chili. It is an easy dish to make and in this video we are going to show you how we cook it step by step. We hope you enjoy this video of Peruvian food, and if there are other dishes you want to see, let us know in the comments. Hello everyone! Thank you for watching this video that is part of our "Cooking with Daniel" series, where my father shares stories and cooks typical foods from Argentina and other parts of Latin America. This series began with the idea of filming the Argentine barbecue that we did here at home during the weekends. Rich roast with classics like chorizo, tenderloin steak, chorizo steak, vacuum, strip roast, and entrails ... well, a little bit of everything! And to always accompany a picadita and some good Argentine wines. From there we began to cook other Argentine foods such as milanesas, pizzas, pastas, empanadas, stews, locro and more. These are all Argentine foods that you asked us for in the comments, so we prepared them with pleasure! Now we are beginning to experiment with dishes from other Latin American countries. We have already prepared some Peruvian dishes, but tell us what other dishes you want to see. Your suggestions are welcome. Here we leave you the list of all the videos we have filmed in this series: "Cooking with Daniel". We hope you enjoy them: • COCINANDO CON DANIEL: Asados Argentin...
