So, astrology can tell us as to our position in the universe and contribute to our Chitta dharma, by helping us see what the stars and planets do to us in our life. Hence Chandra Samyama is very important. Understanding of time according to the Vedic almanac comes through this. There are 60 years in one cycle. Yuga, manvantara, Kalpa. Samyama on Chandra Naadi helps oriental wisdom to bloom and blossom. The whole almanac is called Panchanga.
