This video is an overall review of all things REDOX! This includes identifying which species gets oxidized and which gets reduced (additionally, which one is the anode and which one is the cathode), how to write out half reactions, use those half reactions to draw a complete Galvanic Cell, and calculating for cell potential ( E in Volts ) when given a REDOX reaction (with a brief recap of spontaneous versus nonspontaneous cells). Before you take that test about Electrochemistry, be sure to take a quack at these practice problems! 🔔 SUBSCRIBE for more free education 🔔 ---------------------------------------------------------------- https://www.youtube.com/c/Duckonta?su... ---------------------------------------------------------------- 🦆 JOIN THE FLOCK 🦆 ---------------------------------------------------------------- • Facebook: / duckonta • Patreon: / duckonta ---------------------------------------------------------------- 💼 BUSINESS INQUIRIES 💼 ---------------------------------------------------------------- Duckonta@gmail.com ---------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for watching! 0:00 Introduction 0:22 Example 1 - Identify the Anode and Cathode in the REDOX Reaction (Step by Step) 3:13 Problem 2 - Identify the oxidized and reduced metal (Test Yourself) 3:53 Quick Review for How Batteries Work 4:29 Example 3 - Solve the Half Reaction and Draw a Galvanic Cell (Step by Step) 10:07 Quick Review of a Salt Bridge 10:17 Problem 4 - Solve the Half Reaction and Draw a Galvanic Cell (Test Yourself) 11:38 Why Car Batteries Die 13:30 Example 5 - Calculate the Cell Potential of the REDOX Reaction (Step by Step) 16:15 Problem 6 - Calculate the Cell Potential of the REDOX Reaction (Test Yourself) 17:36 Summary 19:08 Test Yourself redox reaction khan academy, Introduction to Oxidation Reduction (Redox) Reactions tyler dewitt, How to Balance Redox Equations in Basic Solution tyler dewitt, Oxidation and Reduction (Redox) Reactions Step-by-Step Example melissa maribel, Balancing Redox Reactions, Galvanic Cells, Finding Cell Potential, & Cell Notation melissa maribel, Redox Reactions bozeman science Oxidation and Reduction Reactions - Basic Introduction the organic chemistry tutor, How To Balance Redox Reactions - General Chemistry Practice Test / Exam Review the organic chemistry tutor, redox reaction wayne breslyn, Redox Reactions: Crash Course Chemistry Crashcourse Oxidation-Reduction Reactions professor dave explains, Balancing Redox Reactions in Acidic and Basic Conditions professor dave explains, redox reaction Chemistnate, redox reaction Learnohub redox reaction Class 11, GCSE Chemistry - Oxidation and Reduction - Redox Reactions Cognito, REDOX half reaction khan academy, REDOX half reaction tyler dewitt, REDOX half reaction melissa maribel, REDOX half reaction bozeman science, Half Reaction Method Balancing Redox Reactions In Basic Acidic Solution Chemistry the organic chemistry tutor, Standard Reduction Potentials of Half Reactions - Electrochemistry the organic chemistry tutor, REDOX half reaction wayne breslyn, REDOX half reaction Crashcourse, REDOX half reaction professor dave explains, What are the Half-Reactions?
