Jana's words on the Toccata Nr.9 : The Toccata Nona in D Major with a 3/2 meter has an interesting shape as the musical phrases mostly start in the middle of the bar. It is full of big leaps and arpeggios that help set clear harmonic modulations and also a light character through short articulation. Jana's Bio: Jana is a Lebanese born cellist and music educator. She graduated from the State University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart-Germany where she completed her studies in cello performance and achieved her Master's degree in Early Music/Baroque Cello. Today, Jana pursues her career as a performer and teaches music at several universities. She founded the first Center for Early Music in the Middle East at the Antonine University that she led from September 2018 till September 2021. Jana is currently musically active between Lebanon, Germany and Jordan.
