A quite laggy deathmatch game in hell. (lag not visible in the video) Filename: plutonia_dm_map30.lmp WADs: PLUTONIA.WAD Map: MAP30 Player count: 3 Demo by: Technochips (indigo) Time: 2018-11-29 Demo Download (along with other points of view): https://owlman.neocities.org/owlgames... List of players: Mortrixs (green): 76 frags Technochips (indigo): 101 frags OwlMan (brown): 51 frags This demo was created on Chocolate Doom and recorded on PrBoom+. Because of this, the players actually played at 320×200, and not 1920×1080. Q: Wait why did the video suddenly end? A: The guy that has set up the game accidentally didn't put the timelimit (which was supposed to be at 10 minute, but he accidentally typed -timelimit instead of -timer). Later they realised that, and everyone decided to end the match Q: Why are you/that guy suddenly becomes AFK? A: Probably to chat, because Doom had a chat system, except that it's not recorded in the demo. Q: Why are you sometimes missing really easy shots? (Actually it's pretty nice to have Super Shotgun duels where none of the players actually hits the other.) A: Because of the (not that much) terrible lag the 3 players got. DA: Since the three people playing are playing over the Internet, with their Internet connection probably not being able to handle over 35 inputs per seconds from two people while at the same time sending 35 inputs per seconds, the game's gonna lag. It's not regular lag, every time any players can't send or receive the inputs, the game "pauses" until they finally send the inputs. While it's "pausing", any input you're doing won't matter (if you try to fire, it won't fire), so you might try to fire at someone but accidentally fire right next to it.
