Irish breakfast for me, traditional breakfasts and beans on toast for the family. Good value and generous portions, though the coffee could have been stronger. If you’re looking for a reliable breakfast spot in Puerto Del Carmen, Spoons is a safe bet. Total cost: €28.75 (for two adults and two kids, including coffees and kids drinks) Score: 7/10 🍕 LUNCH – Trattoria da Rafaello https://www.facebook.com/trattoriadar... Katie and the girls tried Trattoria da Rafaello for lunch, but this was a classic tourist trap experience, with cold garlic bread, and a burger so tough it could have been used as a doorstop. The real star was the burger bun as it looked and tasted like it had been left out in the sun all day. It was stale, chewy, and best avoided. Service was nowhere to be found, but the cold beer for €1.90 at least put a positive spin on the stop. If you’re looking for great food in Puerto Del Carmen, this isn’t the place to find it for us. For lunch round two, we tried Enjoy Asian Restaurant in Puerto Del Carmen. The standout dishes included duck rolls, Siau Long Bao, chicken dumplings, duck bao (my favourite), and chicken chow mein to share. The Duck bao buns are a must try as you get two in a portion and the size is really good. Service lost a point after the waiter sneezed into his hand and carried on, but otherwise this is a strong choice for Asian food in Puerto Del Carmen Lanzarote, especially if you like generous portions, great fresh flavour and a shady outdoor seat. Dinner at Indian Aroma in Puerto Del Carmen Lanzarote was the highlight of the day and a serious contender for the best curry in Puerto Del Carmen. Fantastic service, a great atmosphere, and standout food. We had chicken dansak (with pineapple), butter chicken, a mountain of garlic naan, fried rice, popadoms, onion bhajis, and kids’ curry that everyone enjoyed. Chilled Cobra beer, free drinks at the end, and thoughtful touches throughout. If you’re looking for Indian restaurants in Lanzarote or wondering where to eat on the strip, this is the place!
