Crescent City Airport (KCEC) | WHERE’S TRANSIENT PARKING | Crescent City, California

This is our fourth stop on our PNW (Pacific Northwest) trip, follow along as we make our way up to Seattle! Fly with us into breathtaking Crescent City Airport formerly known as Del Norte (pronounced Nort, not Nort-eh, huge mistake on our end😆) County Regional Airport at Jack McNamara Field on Runway 36. This airport has limited transient parking and self-service fuel. It is also home to Cal-Ore flight operations and has regular commercial service from Oakland, so keep an eye out and make your radio calls! TRANSIENT PARKING There is limited transient parking available at this airport with tie-down chains available just west of the self-serve fuel. $5 overnight parking. FBO The FBO is located south of the self-serve fuel and has a big “Cal-Ore Flight” sign on the building. Walk-in, let them know if you’re visiting for the day or overnight and they’ll get you settled. The FBO has restrooms, a microwave, free coffee and water and snacks for a small donation. Overnight parking is FUEL Self-serve fuel is located in front of the FBO, next to the transient parking. The payment system is located within the silver enclosure on the back side of the pump. Look for a door and pop it open. RESTROOMS Restrooms are located inside the FBO. CREW CAR / CAR RENTAL You won’t find any crew cars here but you can arrange for a rental through the FBO for Avis or Budget. You can also request a shuttle through Redwood Coast Transit (RCT) for only $5. Check out their website for more information: https://redwoodcoasttransit.org/ FOOD There are no restaurants on-site and you’ll find limited snacks in the FBO. If you’d like to grab a meal in town we suggest using the shuttle service or grabbing a rental car. This is a favorite spot to visit the coastal redwoods. Camping, hiking and biking the trails are highly recommended if you have the time. Its absolutely beautiful in this northern part of California and there’s plenty of food and shops to enjoy in town.
