Finally, it's time to cycle again! After sharing many impressions from the far north over the past few weeks, we're now embarking on another beautiful bike tour in the heart of the Upper Bavarian Alps. Why cycle far away when we have paradise practically at our fingertips in Germany? Sunny March draws us out into the fantastic mountain landscape of the Karwendel region. On a wonderfully diverse bike tour, we'll cycle from Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Mittenwald and back. Four sparkling blue mountain lakes, the graceful castles of Kranzbach and Elmau, and some pushing on frozen ground await us over the 55 kilometers. With some asphalt and some gravel, this tour is equally suitable for touring bikes, gravel bikes, e-bikes, and mountain bikes thanks to its moderate climbs.
