2023 Hokkaido Highlight Reel

The highlights from our return to Hokkaido in 2023. This was filmed between January 5th and January 29th 2023. It had been a couple of years since we'd be able to return to Japan and we were keen to get back to run our guided trips. Hokkaido had another great season. Our first session (5th - 16th Jan) had decent snow, but a warming trend baked the snow on the last couple of days and then it froze up like coral reef, so the off-piste was done. Thankfully our second session (18th - 29th Jan) saw consistent snowfalls and cold temps and we skied powder most days. The video includes highlights from the skiing in the Furano and Otaru areas and is a mixture of resort and sidecountry skiing.
