2023 Tohoku Highlight Reel

Highlights of our 2023 trip to the Tohoku region in Japan. We had a successful return to Japan in February after the Pandemic had shut us down for a couple of years. We enjoyed decent skiing in our Hirosaki, Hachimantai and Morioka zones. We had some great powder days during the start of the trip in our Hirosaki and Hachimantai zones, until it warmed up during the last 3rd of the trip. Thankfully we were still able to ski decent snow during this time as we found great north-facing terrain. The last day was bluebird with untouched powder and a great way to finish it off. Overall, it was a great time with a couple of new hidden gems unearthed and further consolidation of great terrain choices when the weather doesn't co-operate.
