Between races, V competes in a 6th Street shooting contest, retrieves a dangerous netrunning artifact for Nix, and takes on gigs to reclaim a clinic from the Animals, smuggle a Tyger Claws defector, and recover the remains of a fallen Aldecaldo for a grieving family. 📜 MISSION BREAKDOWN: • Spellbound: Netrunner Nix hires V for a simple pickup: buy a rare piece of old netrunning tech called "The Book of Spells" from a contact named R3n0. The deal can go smoothly, or V can uncover a scam, leading to theft and combat. The artifact itself is a powerful Zetatech tablet from Johnny's era. • Shark in the Water: A gig for Regina Jones. V must eliminate Blake Croyle, an Animals gang member who has violently extorted and taken over a clinic in Kabuki from its original owner, Roger Wang, who is now fighting back through Regina. • Flight of the Cheetah: Another Regina gig. V is hired to extract Hwangbo, a Tyger Claws member marked for death after stealing from the gang. The mission involves finding him at a motel, fighting off pursuing Tyger Claws, and safely delivering him to an Aldecaldo smuggling team. • The Beast in Me: Badlands: The second qualifying race. V and Claire take on Wraiths and other Aldecaldos in a high-speed dash across the open roads and canyons of the Badlands. • Stadium Love: V stumbles upon a 6th Street gang "lead-spitting" (shooting) competition. By following their rules and outshooting their champion, Walker, V can win a unique prize—but recognition by the gang can quickly turn the friendly contest into a firefight. • The Beast in Me: Santo Domingo: The third and final qualifying race. Back in the urban jungle of Arroyo, Santo Domingo, V must defeat teams from the Tyger Claws, Mox, 6th Street, and Valentinos to secure a spot in the championship race in Westbrook. • Trevor's Last Ride: A somber gig from Dakota Smith. The Aldecaldos wish to bury one of their own, Trevor Brass, whose car was found at a Wraiths' nest. V must infiltrate the nest, recover Trevor's remains, and bring closure to his family.
