In our Valedictory Session of Feminist Philosophy Certificate Course joined by Professor P. Kesava Kumar- HOD, Department of Philosophy, Delhi University, Professor R.C. Sinha, chairman of ICPR, Chief Guest Professor Kalpana Kannabiran, and Dr. Reetu Jaiswal, Assistant Professor, Delhi Univeristy and Course Instructor the Course, we conclude the long running course on Feminist Philosophy. About our Chief Guest: Professor Kalpana Kannabiran. Profesoor Kannabiran works at the intersections of sociology, law and gender studies. She is a co-founder of Asmita Resource Centre for Women, Secunderabad, she has taught at NALSAR University of Law, (1999-2009), and was Regional Director, Council for Social Development, Hyderabad (2011-2021). She is the author of Tools of Justice: Non-Discrimination and the Indian Constitution (2012), editor of Violence Studies (2016), and co-author of the recently published Gender Regimes and the Politics of Privacy: A Feminist Re-Reading of Puttaswamy vs. Union of India (2021), among others. Her book Law, Justice and Human Rights: Short Reflections (with a Foreword by Anand Teltumbde) is scheduled for release in October 2021 (Orient BackSwan).
