Hi and welcome back to The General Mattis. In today’s Battlefield 6 video, we jump into Conquest to continue leveling vehicles and unlocking upgrades. This time, the focus is on anti-air gameplay. On paper, this should be one of the most important roles in Battlefield, especially with how dominant helicopters can be. But what we experience in this session shows the exact opposite. We start on Liberation Peak, but quickly realize that our team has no anti-air at all. The enemy air vehicles completely dominate the match, and there is simply no way to fight back. Without any counters, the round turns into pure frustration, so we decide to quit and search for a better server through matchmaking. The next match puts us on Blackwell Field Badlands. This time, we manage to secure the anti-air vehicle right at the start of the round. The main reason is simple: nobody else wants to play it. And after this match, it becomes clear why. The anti-air is currently one of the most frustrating and ineffective vehicles in Battlefield 6. Because the map is extremely open, we can cover large areas and constantly engage enemy air vehicles. However, the damage output is incredibly low. We test all three ammunition types to see which one works best. The only rounds that feel somewhat effective are the high-velocity shells, but even those struggle to secure kills. Despite our best efforts, we barely manage five kills in an entire round. Meanwhile, the enemy attack helicopter destroys us multiple times. The vehicle that is supposed to counter air threats feels completely powerless. Instead of controlling the skies, we are constantly on the defensive. This leads to a strange situation where other vehicles equipped with TOW missiles are actually far more effective at taking down helicopters. In fact, if you want to deal with air vehicles, using TOW rockets on almost any ground vehicle is currently a much better option than using the dedicated anti-air platform. Even against infantry, the anti-air struggles. The damage is inconsistent, and it often feels like you cannot reliably eliminate targets. The result is a gameplay experience that is frustrating, unbalanced, and at times even absurd. At the same time, the lobby is full of engineers, mines, and constant anti-vehicle pressure. Vehicle gameplay in general feels extremely punishing and unrewarding. Instead of large-scale battlefield moments, you constantly fight for survival with little impact on the outcome of the match. In the end, we lose the round quickly. Honestly, it almost feels like a relief. This session perfectly highlights the current balance issues in Battlefield 6 and raises serious questions about vehicle design, anti-air effectiveness, and overall gameplay direction. Let me know in the comments what your experience with anti-air has been. Do you think the balance is broken, or is there something we are missing? Thanks for watching and see you on the battlefield. 🔥 Hashtags #Battlefield6 #BF6 #BattlefieldConquest #BattlefieldVehicles #AntiAir #BattlefieldBalance #FPSGaming #BattlefieldGameplay #GamingChannel #TheGeneralMattis
