"We need ideas and new products for the bioeconomy," says Richard Orozco. Since the end of 2019 he has been researching at the Leibniz Institute for Agricultural Engineering and Bioeconomy in the GoGrass project (www.gograss.eu) to pave the path for newly developed grass-based products onto the market. Which mechanisms can promote the development towards a comprehensive circular economy? What are the constraints and how can bio-based innovations in agriculture find a faster way into practice? The doctoral researcher from Venezuela studied Integrated Natural Resource Management at the Humboldt University in Berlin and acquired expertise in the areas of supply chain management and agricultural economics. Richard Orozco has been representing the interests of doctoral students at ATB since 2020 and is committed as a Bioeconomy Youth Ambassador in various organisations , for example at the Global Bioeconomy Summit.
