CSX 1869 “C&O Heritage” Leading CSX I-135 Through Nappanee, IN

So with me just getting out of school for the day, I raced my butt up to Nappanee, IN to become a part of the foam fest that would form at the depot. We were there for CSX 1869, the relatively new Chesapeake & Ohio heritage unit leading CSX I-135. We of course had to witness a CSX M-367 before the 135 would show up, so that’ll be the first train in the video. When 135 began to reveal itself from over the hill east of town, a tie laying truck was pacing along side of it. We went over to the south side of the tracks to avoid the risk of being blocked. But of course, we were juked. We all wanted to be on the north side of the tracks by the depot to get a better shot, but the truck would’ve been in the way, or not. The truck stopped at a grade crossing and 135 was getting too close for us to move back over, so we tried to get the best shot that we could. It didn’t actually turn out that bad though, so I’ll take it. With all that said, enjoy the video!
