Choklik cheese has traditionally been made from sheep or goat milk. The milk is first turned into yogurt, then processed in a traditional skin bag (khik) to become a nutritious cheese rich in probiotics. The remaining whey is later turned into Qareh Ghoroot. Watch the video for the full traditional process. The only important points for making this cheese are using full-fat raw (unboiled) milk and sour yogurt starter.
