What's in this box for the allotment? I was surprised it was so small! Hope it works as good as the other one for the allotment pond. The Allotment Bird Bath is now waterproof so let's enhance it and make it look nice. That spout for the water fountain is now useful for something else. The box for the solar panel and water fountain looks ever so small and will it actually work properly? An old bit of trellis from the home Garden will now be useful at the allotment to grow sweet peas up and camouflage the IBC tank. The birds will love the coconut and peanut butter treats. Let's put those saved coffee grinds around the blueberry bushes to help the soil become a little more acid. Blueberry bushes do prefer a soul that is a little on the acid side. Doug is still digging and preparing the potato beds. That bindweed is never ending! We would love to be doing no dig on this plot and hopefully we will be able to do no dig next year. At the moment though with all the bindweed on the plot we have to dig so unfortunately no dig is out for this year. Now it's time to prepare the bed ready for the gooseberry bushes. Sadly at the moment we can't do no gig here either as there is an abundance of bindweed in amongst all the mint roots.
