13/7/2025 saw trains captured around the area North of Ardglen from morning to late night. to start out the day a PN coal train with 9310, 9206 and mid train 9301 haul a loaded coal train towards Newcastle, this train is captured at Quirindi, Willow Tree, Kankool and finally grinding up the 1 in 40 grade to Ardglen where the bankers (LPD002, LPD008 and LPD006) would detach and return down to the bottom of the grade. next up in the Sydney bound Moree/Armadale Explorer as it accelerates away from Willow station. back to Quirindi and an Aurizon train lead by a trio of C44s creeps over a brief but harsh grade as it cart a load of coal to the ports of Newcastle. it's then to Willow tree once again where a PN grain lead by 8238 and 8255 coast their way past as they head South towards Ardglen and beyond. back to Quirindi where the PN Cotton from the day before is now on the return speeds past with the whir of dynamic brakes activating as they pass by with their loaded train to Sydney. next up is 8249 and 8250 leading a empty PN grain through gap as it heads down the line to Binnaway. it's then over to Breeza where a empty PN coal train with 3921 leading a pair of well coal dusted siblings as they speed past on their journey to one of the loaders north of Boggabri. this is then followed by an Aurizon loaded coal train with C44s 6021 leading 6005 and 5027 as they slowly accelerate away from Breeza loop, this train would be again captured at Willow tree and they scream past trying to keep speed trough town. it's then back to Qurindi where up first is a loaded PN grain with a pair of 82's silently roll through town with a load of grain bound forth port in Newcastle. Then in the opposite direction are 2 empty PN coals train both with differing configurations for how engines are marshaled on coal trains. then to platform first up is empty PN grain with 8253 and 8240 speed by towards Werris creek. then to finish up the day is a PN operated Whitehaven coal train with WH001, TT115 and WH003 taking the run south with a load of export coal.
