Fascia is a type of tissue that traverses the entire body enveloping and investing in all organs of the body. Through assessments, it can be determined if there are densifications in the fascia which can alter the function of the muscles that it surrounds and invests into. Friction and heat is applied to the densification until there is a release of the tissue restoring proper function.
