The Trains at Old Threshers, 2015 - Mount Pleasant, IA

Take a trip to Mount Pleasant, Iowa in summer of 2015 for three days of fun at the Midwest Old Threshers Reunion. On the Midwest Central Railroad, see narrow-gauge steam trains as they haul passengers around the grounds, pulled by 2-6-0 locomotive #6 and 2-6-2 #12. Both engines are seen running passenger trains and a new mixed consist including freight cars. Then we'll experience trolley car action on the Midwest Electric Railway, running historic trolleys and streetcars through the Old Threshers campgrounds. You'll enjoy a few rides on the line plus many trolley run-bys from scenic spots along the tracks. Join us as we explore all the railroad action during another great year at Old Threshers. This was my 11th consecutive year filming during the Old Threshers Reunion.
