She's a complicated lass. Hoyoung is a class that is brimming with potential. They can mob, and boss very well, but in order to do so, they require a level of mastery of the class that most other classes do not. Hoyoung makes you meet it more than half way. It's got a lot of damage early on, so it's a beginner friendly class in that regard, but there is so much going on, and so much minutia to getting the class to perform optimally, that it's very beginner unfriendly. The energy system is needlessly complex, and annoying to deal with at best, but it's a key function of the class, so you have to get good and learn how to generate the energy you need, to use the skills you need. I enjoyed my time with Hoyoung, and found it very enjoyable to boss/mob with once I got a feel for the class, but the entire time, nagging at the back of my mind, were those first 235 levels of the class, where it was just, terribly unfun, and unintuitive to play. You have to meet this class more than halfway to get to the point it opens up and becomes fun, and that's a little annoying. But for the most part with Hoyoung, you get out, what you put in. If you put the time into learning this class, you'll be rewarded for sure. Just know, you're gonna struggle.
