Hayle to Godrevy across the beach

Today we walked from Hayle harbour to (nearly) Godrevy (where we finished last time). A beautiful #sunny day but cold northerly #wind. The #beach was prestine and #waves choppy. We found pieces of a boat that had washed up on the rocks and the Coastguard and RNLI were out on a shout and appeared to be searching. I hope that no one is missing and the #boat had just slipped its mooring. There was a for sale sign on the rocks which could indicate there were no crew. Aside from that, it was a lovely #dogwalk and 7 mile round trip walk. #ice ceeam after from Mr b’s. On days like this, you can feel like you are the only person on this planet whizzing across the expanse of the universe - with no other humans or foorprints to be seen. #sun #hayle #cornwall - the place i came to on holiday as a child and never forgot it ……
