I know this game is old but in my opinion it's still one of the best games ever made. I did this the same way as I did my Doom 3 playthrough, fast and to the point, taking easy shortcuts where possible, but still taking detours for useful items if it's worth the effort. This game is really not that hard on it's highest difficulty, you just have to be a little more careful. Hard difficulty in Half-Life means: Enemies take more hits to kill You take more damage from enemy attacks Some enemies attack faster Health stations give up to 25 hp HEV stations give up to 35 ap Medkits give 10 hp Batteries give 10 ap Level specific notes: The final chapter on earth. This one is long and tough, alien grunts and slaves are everywhere. Make good use of the heavier weaponry, you'll find a huge stash of ammo at the end anyway. The last part is the hardest with all the alien controllers, not only do you have to protect yourself, but also the scientist that is opening the portal for you.
