Importance of Variability in Training Your body is made up of various tissues that run in various directions ↖️↗️↘️↙️ We know your body needs a stimulus to respond to before we can expect adaptation (including increased strength/hypertrophy) We also know that force is the language of cells and therefore if we want the cells that make up our tissues (incl. muscles) to adapt, we stimulate & speak to them via force If we constantly training via the same movements in the same positions we are then constantly speaking to and loading the same lines of the same tissues If we are constantly loading the same lines of the same tissues we may be neglecting other lines of tissue Not only will this have an impact on the where you’re strong/weak or where you grow/don’t grow (hypertrophy) - it may also increase the likelihood of tissue insult (injury) If we want to have strong, capable bodies why not train as much of our meat vessel as we can? In Kinstretch we prioritize variability as we are mindful of the lack of variability that exists in most people’s daily lives and training. Beginning a Kinstretch practice is one way you can introduce more variability to the system and to your tissues. We will challenge you to use each joint for its FULL purpose, including movement in all directions, training tissue at various angles, and utilizing as much of your meat vessel (body) as you can. How much of your meat vessel are you currently speaking to? 🗣 🧬 💪🏻 How Can I Help You?
