In which Runaway Groom gets sidelined so that a new face can take the gold medal for once. This is an updated version of the Wipeout TAS(es) that I made back in 2019, featuring a (loading time normalized) 9 and a half second improvement over the course of the whole run, primarily through RNG manipulation to get shorter chatter from the announcers alongside intentionally wiping out at the end of obstacles to skip celebration animations. Go figure, the RNG function used in this game is the exact same as Brawl's (Which isn't actually too surprising since it's a common function from a shared library); understanding where and when it changes allowed several improvements, including shorter character selection (Choosing "Random Character" instead of manual selection), shorter announcer conversations (As mentioned previously), and manipulating obstacles. Wiping out at the end of an obstacle prevents a character from actually celebrating (And the announcers providing commentary about it), which almost always saves time (Until I just get a situation where the game lingers for a while). This was used in several new places in comparison to the old TAS, most crucially in the final obstacle of the Wipeout Zone, which will save time in the "All Difficulties" TAS that is still in progress (This "Easy Mode" effectively being a preview).
