Mt Konocti is the crown jewel of the Clear Lake area, as it is a dominating presence along the shore of the lake. The hike is relatively easy, on a dirt road all the way to the summit, but along the way, you get amazing views, can see a historic cabin from the 1900s and the remains of a plane crash.
