169. Sale to Preston Brook. 1 Lock & 1 Tunnel | Leaving The Bridgewater Canal |

17th & 18th August 2024 We begin todays video leaving Sale a relatively nice mooring. It does have the disadvantage of a running club using it to plod up and down but on the whole its very good. As we left an old tug got stuck as it tried to turn round & then it rained very heavily for ages. Not to worry I managed to film some stuff such as the Barton swing bridge over the Manchester ship canal & a few seconds of the Trafford Centre. Day 1 ended with us mooring near Lymm. Day 2 began with us leaving Lymm & heading through some lovely countryside & towns. towards Preston Brook and the end of our journey the Trent and Mersey Canal. Oh and a trip through Dutton Tunnel Enjoy A bit more about us. Were Debbie & Saul and along with our dog Tango we travel the inland waterways of the English canals on our 45ft narrowboat called Laura.
