15th August 2024 Its a late start for todays cruise. Plank Lane Lift Bridge has a big restriction. Once were through its plane sailing towards the Bridgewater Canal. First thing we need to do is stock up with provisions at Leigh. Im struggling with my foot (Debbie pulled some skin off it) but the weather is the biggest problem it just didn't stop raining. With a trip over barton aqueduct to brighten our spirits and one of the strangest buildings on the canal network the Bridgewater canal certainly entertains us. Enjoy A bit more about us.
