This video covers how to write competitive research grant proposals. It focuses primarily on proposals for pilots and full randomized controlled trials, but also briefly discusses pointers for proposal development grants. This video offers advice on different stages and sections of a grant proposal, including pre-proposal planning, setting the scene, describing the intervention, the methodology, the implementing partner and research team, and general writing tips. While the content applies most directly to J-PAL proposals, much of the guidance will be helpful to any impact evaluation proposal.
