Today, on the centenary of Giacomo Puccini’s passing, I am here to share with you this original arrangement, as a heartfelt homage to one of the greatest figures in the history of music. This composition weaves together some of Puccini’s most beloved and iconic themes, reimagined with deep reverence and a desire to celebrate the timeless beauty of his art. This arrangement was initially composed for the experimental cultural project "Puccini: Tramontate, Stelle!", curated by the Eryados cultural association, which explored the innovative possibilities of live-action role-playing as a medium for artistic expression and cultural dissemination. Furthermore, this work became an integral part of my academic journey. As part of my Master’s Degree in Film Music (which I completed last week with my final exam), I delved into Puccini’s compositions through my thesis, which examined his music as a precursor to movie soundtracks: the project "Puccini: Tramontate, Stelle!" served as a case study, and this arrangement was presented as my final exam material. Above all, this humble homage stands as a testament to my enduring love and admiration for Giacomo Puccini. His ability to narrate stories through emotions and emotions through unforgettable Leitmotifs has left generations of composers with an immeasurable legacy. Which is something I am profoundly grateful for, as one of those composers who are growing by following in his footsteps. ❄️ Echo ❄️ - ❄️ Link to my Facebook page: / echocomposer ❄️ Link to my X page: / ferraragennari ❄️ Link to my TikTok profile: / echo_composer All audio material is original and belongs to Arianna Ferrara Gennari and Giacomo Puccini.
