Azure Application Security Groups explained with DEMO in 20 minutes This lecture explains What is Azure Application Security Group (ASG), and How to Create it for Improving app security with Azure Application Security Groups Group Explained. this will be an Azure Application Security Group Deep Dive with a demo to understand how to Assign Rules to an Application Security Group in Azure to secure at network and application. This is also called some time as Micro Segmentation in Azure Network security Application Security Groups helps to manage the security of Virtual Machines by grouping them according to the applications that run on them. It is a feature that allows the application-centric use of Network Security Groups. Application security groups (in short we call them ASG) enable you to configure network security as a natural extension of an application's structure, allowing you to group virtual machines and define network security policies based on those groups. You can reuse your security policy at scale without manual maintenance of explicit IP addresses. The platform handles the complexity of explicit IP addresses and multiple rule sets, allowing you to focus on your business logic This approach allows for the grouping of Virtual Machines logically, irrespective of their IP address or subnet assignment within a Virtual Network.
