An old Bridge built in the 17th century by The 1st Duke of Bridgewater who lived in the nearby Ashridge house. (Which used to be a monastery before it passed to the Royal family when Henry the 8th dissolved the monastery's). It was created as a secret entrance to his estate so peasants and other nobles couldn't look upon his wife. (Ignore the fact I say the 3rd Duke in the video). I kept saying third instead of 1st, can't take me anywhere. The Devil's bridge is called that due to it's link to Satanism and Witchcraft, as well as the spooky tales of a Roman soldier and monk, as well as red orbs and mysterious lights in the undergrowth. The locals, don't like it and animals also fear it acting anxious and agitated when near bridge. This was my experience at the Devil's Bridge.
