In this talk, NSND Tự Long reflects on the changing ways younger generations perceive and engage with traditional arts, drawing from decades of firsthand experience witnessing both decline and revival in audience appreciation. Rather than viewing tradition as outdated, Tự Long emphasizes that there are many meaningful ways to modernise traditional arts: through new storytelling forms, contemporary platforms, and creative reinterpretation, so that they can speak the language of the present and reach wider, more diverse audiences.
